Mentors

Joint Civic Education is based on peer education. Committed alumni fellows can get further involved in the training process by serving as mentors. In such a position they share their experiences with the current fellows and support them by providing consultancy throughout their learning process.

In return for their pro bono dedication, mentors receive extensive training alongside colleagues from other countries involved. This gives them the possibility of becoming qualified for professional challenges related to coaching, supervision and consultancy. In 2013, Time for Development and the other Country Programs of Joint Civic Education will together train approximately 30 mentors.
